All UE local officers and stewards are being asked to help us find workers who may be interested in organizing a union.

UE is always looking for workers who need a unified voice at work to win the dignity and respect that all working people deserve. So what's up with the special nationwide effort?

WHY NOW? Changes in the law under the Obama Administration may finally make it easier and safer to organize a union. That can lead to a stronger voice for you and for working people across the nation if more workers join UE and grow the ranks of America’s unions.
WHO? You can help UE find the next organizing campaign at a workplace near you by putting us in touch with workers who may be interested in organizing a union to improve conditions where they work. We will contact them (you have to give us a current phone number and/or email address for them), and we'll provide them information about the right to organize and how to use it. We’ll keep the names confidential; the boss won’t know.
WHAT? We also look for employers and industries where UE has existing contracts and for workplaces where workers have issues or concerns around which to organize a campaign
