No Agreement Reached, but Union Members to Vote on Company’s Last, Best and Final Offer

UE Locals 506 and 618 received Wabtec’s last, best and final on Saturday, June 10. The parties have not reached an agreement, but the UE executive board voted to bring the company’s offer to the membership for a vote.

Following sessions with a federal mediator on Friday, the parties agreed to extend the contract, which would have expired at midnight on Friday, for an additional 24 hours. That extension will expire at midnight on Saturday, June 10.
